EEICAI 2026 Concludes Successfully: A Global Gathering to Advance Electrical Engineering, Intelligent Control, and AI

Bangkok, ThailandJanuary 11, 2026The 2026 International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Intelligent Control, and Artificial Intelligence (EEICAI 2026) successfully concluded on January 11, 2026, after three days of insightful discussions and presentations. Hosted at Krirk University in Bangkok, the conference brought together leading researchers, engineers, industry experts, and innovators from across the globe to explore the future of technology in energy, automation, and intelligent systems.


Held from January 911, 2026, EEICAI 2026 featured a plenary session, parallel oral presentation sessions, an award ceremony, and extensive networking opportunities. The conference focused on interdisciplinary innovations across electrical engineering, intelligent control, and artificial intelligence, serving as a high-level international platform to foster academic-industrial collaboration and technology transfer.


Opening Ceremony & Keynote Speeches

The conference opened with a welcome address bythe Vice-president of Krirk University,Usanee Mongkolpitaksuk. 


This was followed by insightful keynote speeches from five internationally renowned experts:

Professor Janaka Ekanayake (University of Peradeniya, IEEE Fellow)– “Harnessing AI for a Sustainable Energy Future

Emeritus Professor Dr. Maneeratana Sawasdiwat Na Ayutthaya (The Royal Society of Thailand)– “AI for Humanity: From Intelligent Systems to Intelligent Societies

Professor Hui Hwang Goh (Taylors University, IET Fellow)– “Synesthesia for the Smart Grid: Fusing AI and Advanced Sensing for Resilient Power

Professor Sai Zou (Guizhou University, IEEE Senior Member)– “Cloud-network collaboration key technologies for ensuring transmission determinism

Professor Oriol Gomis-Bellmunt (Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, IEEE Fellow)– “Analysis of modern power systems dominated by power electronics and renewable generation(Online)


Parallel Sessions

During the parallel afternoon sessions, attendees participated in 17 oral presentations featuring researchers from China, France, Indonesia, the United States, Australia, India, and more. Topics spanned renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, power electronics converters, wireless power transfer, motor control, and AI applications in energy systems.
